ForLiving to build one of North West’s biggest PRS schemes in Salford

Work on one of the North West’s biggest private rental schemes is set to start in Salford later this year.

The £48 million Dock 5 development, which is being built by ForLiving, will include 389 apartments and feature onsite cinema rooms, a residents’ lounge and a gym.

ForLiving is the commercial arm of ForViva, offering high-quality homes for sale, shared ownership and private rent.

Located less than 10 minutes’ drive from MediaCityUK, the eight-storey scheme in Fairbrother Street, Ordsall, has been designed by multi-award-winning architect Falconer Chester Hall.

Paul Gerrard Director of ForLiving, said: “Dock 5 is an incredibly unique development, with luxury communal facilities rarely seen in Greater Manchester.

“Ordsall is fast becoming a prime location for both commuters and young people. We wanted to reflect that youthful vibrancy by providing the ultimate in urban living. We are delighted to deliver this to the local community.

“This scheme is the latest in the Group’s commitment to developing state-of-the-art properties across the North West region.”

Dock 5 is due to be completed in 2023.
