Mark Edwards

Hi Iā€™m Mark Edwards. Iā€™ve spent the last 10 years working in the property development sector, both private and public sectors.

This includes working for regional Registered Providers and as a Development Consultant for three years. Iā€™ve been at ForLiving for 18 months, my current role is Strategic Lead for ForLiving. This role involves leading on new business development, in terms of identifying new development opportunities, and taking them through an investment viability process, to ultimately deliver new homes. My career highlights have been working on various major capital development and regeneration projects across the North West. Iā€™ve also been proud to work with various local community groups, such as Almshouses, to help those in most housing need. Something thatā€™s important to me is working for a commercial organisation that has an underlying focus on social value. In my spare time, I enjoy trying to play golf (I emphasis trying!). As a frustrated ex-rugby player, I play five aside footy regularly and generally have an interest in anything sporty! Iā€™m extremely proud to be a dad to my daughter, also proud to have played rugby semi-professionally for ten years and at a representative level. A funny fact ā€“ apparently I have ā€˜incredibly small feetā€™ Something interesting about me ā€“ I actually have normal sized feet.

I have worked for ForLiving for approximately 3 years as the Property Services Manager. I am responsible for the lettings and tenancy management team and I am passionate about delivering a friendly and helpful service to our ForLiving tenants. Something that is important to me is working for an organisation that share the same values and beliefs that I feel are important and worth coming to work for every day. In my spare time I like playing rugby and walking my husky. I am extremely proud of getting the chance to realise my dream of living and playing rugby in Australia, and having the opportunity to play alongside some international players along the way. I donā€™t think they have the same feeling though. A funny fact – My wife always asks me why I never buy her flowers. The 10 years I have been with her, I never knew she worked as a floristā€¦

Hi Iā€™m Gemma, originally from Nottingham before deciding on a change of cities and moving to Manchester in February 2020.

Iā€™ve worked with ForLiving since November 2021 and started off with the company as Concierge at the Dock 5 development in Salford, providing a 5* front of house service to residents and help to build a community where people love to live.

I am now the Property Portfolio Manager of Dock 5 and the Hulton Square PRS properties in Ordsall, overseeing everything from start to finish of the tenancy process and everything in between. I am the eyes and ears of new and existing tenants and ensure any issues are being dealt with promptly and the property itself is cared for professionally.

Throughout my previous career history I have been lucky enough to work and travel to Spain, Greece and Australia working in property, hospitality and customer service. Iā€™m a social butterfly, so in my spare time youā€™ll probably find me having brunch with a cocktail or two!
